I'm reading this book right now and the 1984 cover illustration weirded me out.

guy on the left immersed in water is you (he has Mayan tattoos and a snake but it's to small to make out from this digital image).
girl on the right is Nazli.
levitated guy with blond hair is...I dunno...Tommy? He's also apparently a Martian.

If you want a detail it's prob in a library somewhere.
